Due to being raised as an army brat, Cheryl speaks German and has also added Spanish in the past 2 years. She has a degree in Electrical Engineering from Washington University, St. Louis, MO (BSEE Dec '93). Cheryl has also been a US licensed Real Estate Agent in the states of Pennsylvania and New Jersey since 2000.
Upon graduation, Cheryl went to work for Procter & Gamble as a fast-track manager for 7 years. At Procter & Gamble, her assignments varied from Corporate Finance, Manufacturing, Systems Consolidation and Design, Sales and Marketing. It was also at Procter & Gamble that Chris and Cheryl first met.
After moving to Philadelphia for new assignments, we became fascinated with real estate and decided it was time to go out on our own!! In 2000, we both quit our jobs in Corporate America and Chris attained his Contractor's license while Cheryl secured her Real Estate Agent license. It is also in Philadelphia where our son Jalen was born and we brought in the latest addition to our family, our dog London.
We spent the next 6 years working with RE/MAX in Philadelphia, PA as well as owned and operated C&C Real Estate. In Philadelphia, we specialized in working with investors purchasing real estate that provided excellent short-term returns. We not only sold real estate in Philadelphia, but we invested in real estate there as well.
After going through "basic training" for 18 months with RE/MAX here in Punta Cana we started DR4SALE in February 2008. By going independent, we are now able to provide better and more personalized service to our customers. We believe in truth and honesty in building what will become a long-standing relationship with our customers. It is you, our customers, who will become our neighbors of the future. Our business has a strong referral network which is a testament to the service that we provide and the results that we achieve.
As seasoned investors, we continue to be excited about the endless opportunities due to the booming economy in this tropical paradise that we are proud to call home. We have already invested in several communities here in the DR and plan to add to our holdings in the future! The economy is one of the fastest growing in all of Central & Latin America.
