On Casa de Campos' exclusive Minitas Beach, guests can enjoy a sea of water sports. Choose from kayaks, hobbie cats, windsurfers and paddleboats. One Fish, Two Fish
Grab a friend for a half or full day of deep-sea fishing. Land wahoo, dolphin, tuna, kingfish, sailfish, marlin and barracuda, which are all plentiful in local waters. Fresh water fishing, a trip that winds through lush tropical vegetation, tall cliffs and palm trees down the Chavón River is also available. Though fresh water may seem like less of a challenge, weekend warriors should take heart; near world-record snook have been caught in the Chavón. The three-hour excursion includes the river guide, tackle, bait and sodas.
